Lotus Evora 400 - 2015 Geneva Live

Powered by a 400 hp 3.5-litre Toyota V6 engine.

The Lotus Evora 400, the first car from the Hethel based manufacturer after a long time, has made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

As the name suggests, it's powered by a 400 hp producing 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine, sourced from Toyota. The unit makes 409 Nm of maximum torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while a 6-speed auto is optional.

While the design has gained some aggression in comparison to the original Evora, the underpinnings have been updated. The car is 22 kg lighter, features an updated suspension setup, and features better aerodynamics.

The interior hasn't been left untouched, either. It's said to be of improved quality and have "considerable changes".

Production of the Lotus Evora 400 will begin in June and deliveries will begin in two months' time. The car is expected to be priced at around 75,000 UK pounds (INR 71.21 lakhs).
