The Mahindra GenZe has a range of around 30 miles (48 km) on a full charge. With a top speed of 30 mph (48 kph), people of most states in the US wouldn't need a license to ride the GenZe. The scooter will be manufactured in Mahindra's facility near the city that has a capacity to assemble 9,000 units a year. This can be ramped up to 20,000 when required, the company said in a press release.
