The upcoming 2017 Mahindra KUV100 gets a revised grille, shorter headlamps, recast front bumper, new fog lamp enclosure along with new alloy wheels.

At the front, the bumper gets revised air intakes and fog lamp enclosure. The chrome braces in the grille look bigger, while the pulled back headlamps that stretch to the A-Pillar now appears to extend up till the edge of the LED DRLs. The rear bumper has been tweaked with toned down creases towards the wheel arches, and the detailing of the taillamp is new. The test mule rides on new 15 inch alloy wheels, a slight variation of those introduced in January 2017.

Mahindra was unable to meet sales targets set for the KUV100 that went on sale in January 2016. In June 2017, Mahindra confirmed a facelift of the KUV100 was in the works. As per an earlier report, the company will aim to improve the car's aesthetic appeal through a cleaner design. Interior changes, if any, are not confirmed. Also in the works for a year-end roll out are facelifts of the Scorpio and XUV500.

Mechanically, the KUV100 will continue with the 82 bhp 1.2 L G80 mFalcon Petrol and 77 bhp 1.2 L D75 mFalcon Diesel engines. Both come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The KUV100 diesel has a fuel consumption of 25.32 km/l making it one of the most fuel efficient cars on sale in India.
