Mahindra Marazzo bookings cross 13,500 units
Mahindra has received more than 13,500 bookings for the Marazzo, which it had launched on 3 September. That’s according to Dr. Pawan Goenka, the company’s Managing Director.
Mahindra has dispatched a little over 9,000 units to dealers. Of the total shipment, the retail delivery count stands at about 6,800 units.
Commenting on the MPV’s waiting period, Dr. Goenka said: “Currently we are getting in new demand at 130, 140, 150 (units) a day, which is matching with the current production. Therefore, the waiting period, which is right now about 6-8 weeks, will probably remain 6-8 weeks.”
The Mahindra Marazzo is a model filling the white space between the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta in the MPV market of India. Prices range from INR 9.99-13.90 lakh* (ex-showroom India), but note that they are introductory. Customers can choose between 7- and 8-seat versions as well as three-four different equipment lines depending on that seating layout. In all, there are seven configurations.
The Mahindra Marazzo is 4,585 mm long, 1,866 mm wide and 1,774 mm tall. It has a 2,760 mm wheelbase. It is an FWD MPV sitting on a ladder-frame chassis. Under the hood is the D15 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 121 hp at 3,500 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard.

Projector headlamps, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, piano black dashboard, roof-mounted air vents with surround cool technology, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leatherette upholstery and four-wheel disc brakes are some of the top features of the Mahindra Marazzo.
