Mahindra Quanto facelift to be launched this year - Report
Both mechanical and cosmetic changes expected.
According to Autocar, the Mahindra Quanto, which was introduced in late 2012, will be getting changes both in the aesthetics as well as mechanical departments.
Exterior changes are said to comprise of redesigned headlamps, grille, bumpers, and alloy wheels. On the inside, there could be an inclusion of Bluetooth-enabled audio system and new seats with added support.
On the mechanical side, the report continues that Mahindra would use a tweaked suspension system. Extra bushes and a rear stability bar are to be added to the setup, as seen on the Xylo which was updated last year.

The 1.5-litre three-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged diesel engine is not likely to be changed. At present, the unit makes 100 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque, and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Meanwhile the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) variant, or as Mahindra calls it, autoSHIFT, is confirmed for a launch this fiscal year.
