The S101 (codename) is the second monocoque vehicle from Mahindra, and is under 4 meters in overall length. The rear end gets horizontal wraparound taillamps, a rear wiper, roof spoiler, and a pair of reflectors in the lower fascia.

Under the hood, the S101 will offer a new range of petrol and diesel engines displacing 1.2-liters from three-cylinder blocks, which will be the smallest range of engines offered by the company. Co-developed by Ssangyong, the engines are part of a new family, and will be paired to either a manual gearbox or an AMT unit.
