New Mahindra S201 spy shots reveal its tail lamp glow pattern
More spy shots of the upcoming SsangYong Tivoli based Mahindra S201 with production parts have emerged online. The latest set of images shared by Team-BHP reveal the sub-4 m SUV's LED glow pattern.
Judging by the tail lamp graphics, their profile is quite unlike the Tivoli's on which this car is based. The number plate is positioned under the rear windshield and the reflector units are set on the bumper. This particular test mule also has a high mounted secondary stop lamp and roof rails. A previous sighting of the Mahindra S201 also revealed split spoke alloy wheels.
The Mahindra S201 will, reportedly, come with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The Maruti Vitara Brezza rival will have a 5-seat layout. A stretched version, similar to the SsangYong Tivoli Air, measuring over four metres is also part of the plan. Expect the longer variant to carry two extra seats in the back.

The Mahindra S201 is slated to arrive by the 2018 festive season after the launch of the U321 MPV. Expect prices to start at around INR 7 lakhs (ex-showroom). The SsangYong Tivoli derivative will rival the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, and Honda WR-V.
