The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio facelift has once again been caught testing on Indian roads.

The Mahindra Scorpio facelift was spied in full camouflage in Tamil Nadu.

A report on Overdrive shows the Scorpio facelift carrying similar levels of camouflage as before, briefly exposing its headlamps and rear bumper.

The mule is most likely a base version of the Scorpio facelift as it gets steel wheels and a black rear bumper.

However, the mule tested here is possibly the base variant as it carries a black rear bumper and steel wheels.

The model is expected to be launched in mid-2014.

The SUV is expected to be launched sometime in the middle of this year. Some expected to see the car at the Auto Expo last month, but given that the launch was still a few months away, showing the facelift at the Expo might have driven its potential customers to wait for the new model. That's not a smart move as the Scorpio has averaged close to 4,000 units each month in sales.
