Apart from its confirmation, details on the new Mahindra SUV are scarce. The SUV will introduce an all new 1.5L petrol engine which will also be offered in the their current range of compact SUVs like the TUV300 and NuvoSport. At the FIA Formula E championship in London, Dr Goenka confirmed that Mahindra is working on two new platforms, one of which will underpin an SUV due to arrive in the next 14 or 15 months. The second new platform will be introduced in a product a year after that.
