Mahindra U321 spy pictures have been coming in thick and fast the MPV nears it launch date. IAB reader, Hemant Bhat has shared a new set of images of the upcoming Toyota Innova rival. Mahindra could reveal the production-spec version at the Auto Expo that opens its gates to the public on February 9, 2018.

The Mahindra U321/Mahindra S321 is expected to be priced below the Toyota Innova Crysta, which will be its biggest rival in the market.

Some of the notable exterior design features include a 'toothed' grille, headlights with projector units and black bezels, and LED DRLs placed next to the fog lamps. At the back, the U321 will get vertically positioned tail lights, bumper mounted reflector units, and a roof-mounted LED stop lamp. Previous sightings of test mules have revealed 5-split-spoke alloy wheels.

Quite obviously, the Mahindra U321 will have a seating capacity of 7-8. It will get a front facing third-row seat and the second row is likely to feature optional captain seats. A spy picture from earlier this month reveals the centre console, aircon controls, and a touchscreen AVN. The roof lining and seat upholstery are draped in beige that should help give the cabin an airy feel. The instrument console features lavender illumination and a multi-information display in landscape orientation.

Media reports indicate that the MPV will debut a new 1.6 L mFalcon diesel engine. A petrol variant is expected to be available as well. However, it is unclear whether it will be available at the time of launch or added to the lineup at a later stage.
