Mahindra XUV500 "Mad Men" custom accessories induces stealth and muscle

Bengaluru-based Motormind Automotive Designs - creators of the Hyperion 1 - have revealed a new "Mad Men" series of accessories for the Mahindra XUV500. It can be spec'd individually or as a body kit with a choice between matte and chrome wraps, or body-painted accessories. With the matte wrap, the whole body kit costs INR 1.58 Lakhs.

The body kit adds a sense of aggression and bulk to the XUV500, featuring bulging wheel arches on all sides, custom front bumper with LED DRLs, front grille with honeycomb mesh, aggressive rear bumper with a faux diffuser, third LED taillight, angular exhaust tailpipes, a bold hood scoop and rear spoiler. Although not mentioned above, it also features matte black alloy rims, and an extra pair of lights mounted on the roof bars.

No changes have been made under the hood. The XUV500 has a 2.2-litre turbodiesel mHawk 140 engine which outputs 140 PS and 330 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an Aisin-sourced 6-speed Automatic gearbox.

The XUV500 was updated just last month with a new Lake-Side Brown exterior colour, Android Auto compatibility and other new infotainment system features.
