Spied - Mahindra Zesto shoots for its TVC

To be launched sooner than later.

The Mahindra Zesto (G101) has been spied during the filming of its television commercial in Mumbai by Rush Lane reader Mr. Rahil Bharani. The unisex automatic scooter is still devoid of decals or logos confirming the name.

The Mahindra Zesto would borrow the 110 cc engine from the Centuro.

The scooter has been spotted without camouflage recently revealing all the vital details. The 'V' shaped headlamps and air-intakes on the front apron, besides the turn indicators, are the standout features. The instrument console is ensconced in a silver housing and the rectangular combination light sports the Mahindra badge in the centre.

The scooter is expected to have a fuel economy of around 60 km/l.

The overall dimensions appear to be a tad smaller than the segment leader, the Honda Activa. Steel wheels, telescopic fork front suspension and single sided coil spring rear suspension are the other features worth mentioning.

Powering the Zesto would be a 110 cc air-cooled engine borrowed from the Centuro but paired to a CVT. The engine makes 8.5 PS (8.38 bhp) and 8.5 Nm of torque in its current state of tune. Fuel economy is expected to be in the vicinity of 60 km/l.
