Could be part of a special edition to mark its first anniversary.

Gaadiwaadi.com has posted spyshots of a Maruti Ciaz with an LED DRL strip on the bumper and white decal on the hood. With the first anniversary of the Ciaz a few months away, the model could be a special edition to commemorate its stint.

The Ciaz was launched in October last year, but is yet to officially receive a body decal or DRL in its accessories.

As reported earlier, Maruti Suzuki is working on a body-kit for the Ciaz which is due this year. Likely to be called as ‘Aero-kit’ package as offered on some existing Maruti cars, a similar version was previewed at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show. The exterior add-ons included side skirts and bumpers with diffuser-like element at rear, and a large rear spoiler. On the inside, the special variant had leather seat upholstery, touch-screen LCD infotainment unit, and GPS navigation.

However, the ‘Aero’ package did not feature LED DRLs and hood decal. None of the exterior aesthetic elements of the ‘Aero’ version is found in the spied car either. Moreover, the DRLs in the spied car are stand-alone units, and thus might be part of Maruti Genuine accessories.
