Maruti and its suppliers invested INR 620 crores for the development of the car.
The India-made Maruti Ciaz will be exported to markets in Middle East, Latin America, Africa, Europe and Russia from November 2014, reports Autocar Professional.
The sedan is manufactured at the company's plant in Manesar, Haryana, and sees localization levels of 98 percent. Maruti, and its 150-200 component suppliers reportedly invested INR 620 crores in the development of the car.

The Ciaz was launched with prices ranging from INR 6.99 lakhs to INR 9.34 lakhs for the petrol variant and INR 8.04 to INR 9.8 lakhs for the diesel variant. These prices are ex-Showroom, New Delhi and introductory.
