The Ciaz diesel is the most fuel efficient car in India.

Aimed squarely at the new Honda City which didn't waste any time to snatch the segment leadership from the Hyundai Verna, the Ciaz comes with a petrol and diesel engine option. The 1.4-litre 95 PS (93.66 bhp) K-Series petrol engine delivers a class leading fuel economy of 20.73 km/l. The diesel variant, with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor generating 90 PS (88.7 bhp) under the hood, is the most fuel efficient car in India with an economy of 26.21 km/l (ARAI figures).

The petrol motor is available with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission while the diesel motor stays content with only the manual gearbox.

The petrol and diesel versions are available in four variants each. The standard features across the range include projector headlamps, keyless entry, electrically operated wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators, an audio system with USB, Aux-in and memory card and fabric seats with front and rear armrests.
