Spied - Maruti Dzire facelift enters production ahead of festive season launch
Minor cosmetic and feature changes to be seen on the segment king.
Maruti-Suzuki has already started production of the Maruti Dzire facelift, reports Gaadi Waadi. Seen here is a spy image of the top-end variant of the compact sedan which is reported to have its launch towards the end of this year (festive season period).
As this image shows, the Dzire facelift will receive newly designed 10-spoke alloy wheels, tinted headlights and chrome enclosures for the foglights. Previous spy images have shown the car wearing a new chrome grille and a tweaked rear bumper without reflectors.
Inside, the Dzire is expected to get features such as push button start, keyless entry and power folding wing mirrors.

Mechanically, the Dzire will continue unchanged and it will be offered with a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol motor is a 1.2-liter K-Series unit, and the diesel is a Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter Multijet. The petrol is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic, while the diesel comes only with a 5-speed manual.
