Maruti Suzuki cuts prices of popular models by INR 5,000

Maruti Suzuki has slashed prices of its select models by INR 5,000 (on ex-showroom price). The revision in the prices comes after the Government recently announced the reduction in corporate tax.

The new prices will come into effect starting from today (25th September 2019).

Maruti Suzuki has brought the INR 5,000 price cut to the Alto 800, Alto K10, Swift diesel, Celerio, Dzire diesel, the Vitara Brezza which it sells through Arena and the Baleno diesel, Ignis and the S-Cross Nexa offerings, and the Tour S diesel – a taxi-only variant of the second-gen Dzire. The new prices come into effect starting from today (25th September 2019), across the country. Also, the price reduction will be done over and above the current promotional offers from Maruti Suzuki. The company is positive that new prices will help boost customer sentiment and revive the market this festive season. In other updates, Maruti Suzuki is also brewing new products like S-Presso and the premium Wagon R which will further generate more customer interest and help the company to regain the lost shares.

Maruti will launch the S-Presso on 30th September. It will be Maruti Suzuki's first entry-level car in 7 years.
