Should be launched in India next year.

In February, the Maruti (Suzuki) S-Cross facelift was unofficially revealed in a leaked image clicked during a dealer conference. The new model has been no-show so far, but not for so long. According to instagram user 'suzukicars', the facelifted Suzuki S-Cross will be officially revealed in July, meaning a 2016 Paris Motor Show public debut is likely.

The facelifted Suzuki S-Cross will likely gain a new BOOSTERJET turbocharged petrol engine.

The facelifted Suzuki S-Cross will feature a partially re-done front-end with new headlights, re-sculpted hood, vertical upper grille with chrome finishing, bigger airdam grille and a more prominent bumper. The profile seems to have remained largely unchanged, while the rear-end is yet to be revealed. Noteworthy changes at the rear will likely be tweaked taillights and reshaped bumper.

The interior too leaked online concurrently, revealing minor changes such as an updated instrument cluster dials with new multi-information display, new dashboard trim choices, fresh interior colour combinations and seat upholstery with contrast stitching.

The 2017 Maruti S-Cross (facelift) could gain a 1.5-litre petrol engine option.

The facelifted Suzuki S-Cross may see introduction of the 1.0-litre K10C DITC 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine from the Suzuki Baleno or the K14C-DITC 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine from the Suzuki Vitara. In India, the 2017 Maruti S-Cross (facelift) could be offered with the M15 1.5-litre petrol engine that was offered in the previous generation Suzuki Swift, alongside the current 1.3-litre DDiS 200 and 1.6-litre DDiS 320 diesel engines.
