Just days after the front-end of the Maruti S-Presso, its rear-end has leaked in  spy shots posted by GaadiWaadi.com. While Maruti Suzuki is yet to announce, reports say that the launch of the new model will take place on the 30th of this month.

The Maruti S-Presso is the production version of the Maruti Concept Future-S from Auto Expo 2018.

As it appears from the above spy image, the rear-end of the Maruti S-Presso has been given a sleek and sorted design. The boxy design elements are visible throughout its exteriors. The Maruti S-Presso gets a C-shaped tail light which complements the overall appeal of its rear-end. These lights combine with turn indicators to make a boxy shape. Being an economical product, the S-Presso features halogen headlamps and rear combination lamps. However, it does get LED fog lamp strip at the front. Its high-raised stance is also visible from the rear-quarter, and that, along with muscular wheel-arches and rugged-looking black-cladding all around, gives it a brawny appeal.

The Maruti S-Presso is 3,565 mm long, 1,520 mm wide and 1,564 mm tall. When compared to the Renault Kwid, it stands 114 mm shorter, 59 mm narrower and 86 mm taller. Apart from that, it has a 42 mm shorter wheelbase which measures 2,380 mm. The Maruti S-Presso employs 14-inch steel wheels wrapped in 165/70-section rubbers. Alloy wheels won't be offered even optionally.

The Maruti Suzuki's new micro-SUV will be sold in a total of four variants: Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+. The top-spec VXi+ variant is said to include the 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with voice recognition, steering-mounted audio controls, rear parcel tray, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles and a 12V-volt accessory socket. In terms of safety, it will be kitted with ABS, driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders and a speed alert system will be standard.
