The Maruti Swift, Maruti Dzire, Maruti Baleno and the Maruti Brezza enjoy such demand that the company has pending orders of 1,10,000 units combined, as per a report from moneycontrol.

The 2018 Maruti Swift has recorded 1 lakh bookings since order books opened in mid-January.

The all-new Maruti Swift was launched in February this year, while the new generation Maruti Dzire arrived almost a year ago. In just over a month from launch, the 2018 Maruti Swift’s bookings have crossed 1,00,000 units, creating a new record. The Maruti Swift ranked 4th in India’s top-selling cars last fiscal. Currently, there’s a waiting period for it of up to nine months.

With more than 1 lakh units sold in just 5 months from launch, the new Maruti Dzire is the most popular car in its segment. The fact that it ranked 2nd among India’s top sellers in FY2018 is a testament to its demand. The Maruti Vitara Brezza is one India's bestselling utility vehicle with sales nearing 150,000 units last fiscal. With a Toyota-badged version arriving in Q2 2019, and petrol and automatic variants to backup the diesel variant, demand should only rise.

The Maruti Dzire was India's second best selling passenger vehicle in FY2018, behind the Maruti Alto.
