Maruti SX4 S-Cross to get India-specific features - Spied
To be launched early next year.
Among the eight new products that Maruti intends to launch next year is the Maruti SX4 S-Cross. In these new spyshots, it was caught with some India-specific features.
Published by GaadiWaadi.com, the recent spy picture of the SX4 S-Cross reveals a chrome strip above the taillamp. The publication states that this is the top-spec 'Z' trim (ZXi for petrol, ZDi for diesel) of the crossover.
The same report also throws some light on the variant-wise feature list. Much like the Ciaz, the S-Cross will skip the basic LXi/LDi trim, and instead the range will comprise of a VXi/VDi and a ZXi/ZDi trim. The latter will get 14-spoke alloys, mirror-mounted indicators, project headlamps, and LED daytime running lamps.
The VXi/VDi trim will get halogen headlamps, a 10-spoke alloy wheel design, hence losing out on the features from the top-spec trim including DRLs and wing mirror-mounted indicators. The other changes on the Indian version could be a dual slate grille as seen in an earlier spyshot.
