The Mercedes AMG GLE 63 is the performance flagship of the GLE range and is powered by a 5.5-litre biturbo petrol V8 engine. It produces 557 bhp and 700 Nm of torque; there is also the more powerful S version in which this unit produces 585 bhp and 760 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are handled by a 7-speed 7G-Tronic gearbox that drives a permanent, rear-biased all-wheel drive system. The standard GLE 63 AMG takes 4.3 seconds to reach the 100 kmph mark, while the ‘S’ variant does it in 4.2 seconds. Top speed for both is limited to 250 kmph.
