Mercedes GLC Coupe shows its sloping roofline - Spied

Is Mercedes' card for the compact sports crossover segment.

The Mercedes GLC SUV will spawn a coupe version - aptly named Mercedes GLC Coupe - which is likely to make its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The sports crossover will look like a mini-GLE Coupe with the regular GLC's elements.

In the latest spyshots of the compact sports crossover, courtesy of Nicolas, it features cammo wrap on the front and rear-ends, although the sloping roofline is clearly visible. It was previewed by the Mercedes GLC Coupe from the Shanghai Motor Show, and will look like a mini-GLE Coupe with the regular GLC's elements.

Inside, the GLC Coupe will feature the same design as in the Mercedes GLC. It comes with a freestanding COMAND infotainment system, ARTICO leather seat upholstery with contrast stitching, a Head-Up display and optional Burmester audio system.

The exterior was previewed by the Mercedes GLC Coupe from the Shanghai Motor Show.

Under the hood, the GLC Coupe will borrow the four-cylinder engine lineup from the regular GLC, which include 220 d, 250 d, and 250 4MATIC (petrol) variants, capable of 170 PS & 400 Nm, 204 PS & 500 Nm, and 211 PS & 350 Nm, respectively. The GLC 350 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid model features a 211 PS petrol engine and a 116 PS electric motor, which has a 34 km pure electric range.
