The GLC is based on the C-Class’ rear-wheel drive MRA platform and will be offered in right-hand drive as well, unlike its predecessor, the GLK. Mercedes has stated that the new car will have more legroom, shoulder room, and 1,600 liters of luggage space which is 50 liters more than the outgoing model. Despite the dimensional increase, the car will be 19 per cent more fuel efficient.
