Mercedes V-Class AMG Line - 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show

Mercedes V-Class AMG Line has made its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is the first example of AMG Line trims being offered on Mercedes vans.

This is not a full AMG variant but gets exterior styling changes to go with the AMG badge. The front gets a reworked bumper with large air intakes while the sides receive prominent side sills and 19-inch AMG alloys wrapped in low profile tyres. The rear receives a tail gate mounted spoiler and revised bumper.

It will also have a 15 mm lowered suspension with stiffer spring and dampers and an optional AGILITY CONTROL suspension setup with variable damping. The sport inspired MPV features 17-inch brake discs with Mercedes-Benz lettering on the calipers.

The interior gets AC vents with chrome accents, pedals get brushed aluminium caps, the dashboard receives a faux carbon-fiber trim and along comes a black headliner. The options includes a panoramic sunroof, iPad holders mounted on the back of front seats and AC for the rear occupants.

The update also brings with it, 220V and 12V points and USB and SD Card connectivity.

The V-Class AMG Line surprisingly doesn’t come with any engine upgrades. The only mechanical changes have been done to the suspension and the brake discs, as explained above.

The AMG Line offering will be available in markets by the end of this year.
