Mineral Grey Metallic Custom Suzuki Swift at 2018 Thai Motor Expo - Live

Other than displaying the Auto Salon Version of the Swift Sport, Suzuki Motor (Thailand) has showcased a range of customized Swifts at the ongoing 2018 Thai Motor Expo. These modified models are the top 5 finalists of a contest through which the manufacturer will pick the most attractive custom-built Swift in Thailand. A final entry is this Mineral Grey Metallic custom Suzuki Swift that is owned by one Mr Kittiwat Thanapat Paiboon.

The Thai-spec Suzuki Swift is powered by a K12M Dualjet 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that outputs 82 bhp and 109 Nm. It's 30 kg heavier than the Indian version.

The custom Suzuki Swift features a Mineral Grey Metallic paint along with a white roof wrap. Highlights of its front-end include an updated bumper with C-shaped trim near the fog lamps and a sporty diffuser. Moreover, the stock hood has been replaced with a carbon-fibre panel, which not only helps the car shed some weight but also makes it look the part.

In the side profile, the custom Suzuki Swift gains sporty skirts and 17-inch black five-spoke alloy wheels that have been shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Other highlights include window visors and a jet-black window tint. The rear-end features a new bumper, 'Sport' badge, and a white-painted roof spoiler. These additions have been sourced from the Swift Sport's parts bin.

While the updates for the exterior are subtle, the interior receives a radical makeover. The dashboard receives faux carbon-fibre trim and the original flat-bottom steering wheel has been replaced with a custom unit. The seats receive black leather upholstery while the original floor mats have been replaced with premium quilted carpets. The cabin additionally receives a new touchscreen infotainment unit, an air purifier, a dustbin, and a custom gearshift knob.

The Thai-spec Suzuki Swift gets its juice from a K12M 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated engine that produces a maximum power of 83 PS and a peak torque of 108 Nm. The motor comes mated to a CVT. The only performance upgrade for this custom Suzuki Swift comes in the form of an updated suspension with new spring rates.
