The initial Indonesia-bound shipment of the Mitsubishi FUSO trucks have been dispatched from a Chennai port. The FUSO trucks are nothing but the rebadged versions of the BharatBenz truck range.

The Daimler owned Japanese subsidiary is well established in Indonesia and is the leader in the light-duty truck segment with a market share of 45.4%. Mitsubishi FUSO has sold over 2,80,000 trucks across the light-, medium- and heavy-duty segments in the archipelago.

The trucks are distributed in Indonesia by P.T. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) in which Mitsubishi FUSO Trucks and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) holds 18% stake.
