[Updated] IAB Report - Cars attending the Moscow Motor Show 2014

The Moscow International Automobile Salon 2014 (Moscow Motor Show 2014) will open for the media on August 27, and the following is a list of important cars and world debuts scheduled to take place at the show. Note that not all vehicles are officially confirmed.

1. Chevrolet Niva concept, new Tahoe, Silverado and Tracker:

The Chevrolet Niva concept will preview the design direction of the next generation crossover due for a 2016 launch. GM have already released a few images teasing the concept. The new Tahoe and Silverado would be shown in Russia for the first time. A report also says that the Trax compact SUV, under the name of Tracker, will be exhibited at the show.

2. Opel Concept:

Opel have announced that the car under the sheet will premiere at the Moscow show. Further details are unavailable.

3. Lada 4x4 model:

Reports state that Lada will bring a new 4x4 model to the Moscow show. Again, further details on this are unavailable.

4. Lada Kalina Cross:

The crossover derivative of the new Kalina, which is reported to go on sale in Russia from September, is scheduled to be shown in Moscow.

5. Lada Vesta Concept:

Lada have released teasers of the Vesta concept, which will materialize into a successor for the Priora in September 2015.

6. Made-in-Russia Ford EcoSport:

The Ford EcoSport made at the Tatarstan plant is likely to have its public premiere at the Moscow Motor Show.

7. Peugeot 508 sedan facelift, 308 R, 208 GTI and RCZ:

The company revealed the refreshed 508 sedan in June this year, and the unveiling is expected in Moscow. LED headlights, new bumpers and an upscale interior are some of the changes seen on the 2015 508. Reports also suggest that the sporty 308 R concept, the 208 GTI and the updated RCZ would be showcased at the show.

8. Renaultsport Trophy concept:

The Renaultsport concept previews a racing model for 2015 powered by a 500 bhp Nismo engine matched to a 7-speed sequential gearbox. The car is called the Renault R.S. 01.

9. Range Rover Sport SVR:

The Sport SVR, which is the most powerful Land Rover ever made, could make an appearance in Moscow. Powered by the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, the SVR makes 550 bhp and 680 Nm of torque.

10. 2015 VW Touareg facelift:

The Touareg facelift had its world premiere earlier this year at the Beijing Motor Show. The SUV would have its Russian premiere at the Moscow show, some expect.

11. Hyundai Equus Limousine:

Hyundai have announced a limo based on the Equus measuring 18 feet in length. The stretched Equus is announced to go on sale at the Moscow show for 4.04 million Rubles (INR 68 lakhs).

12. Cadillac Escalade and ATS:

Reports suggest that Cadillac will debut the new Escalade SUV and ATS sedan at the Moscow show. This would be a Russian debut for these cars.

13. Kia Optima, Picanto and GT4 Stinger:

Kia's stand at the Moscow show would consist of the GT4 Stinger concept, the updated Optima sedan with more equipment and a 2015 model year Picanto hatchback with minor updates.

14. Citroen Jumper:

The French company plans to use the Moscow show to debut their range of Jumper commercial vans.

15. Refreshed VW Jetta and Scirocco:

The updated Jetta and Scirocco were revealed elsewhere in the world earlier this year. These cars, along with the refreshed Touareg, will have their Russian premieres at the show.

16. Topcar tuned 911 GTR:

Russia-based tuner, TopCar, will display their 911 GTR at the show which is claimed to do 0-100 km/h in as quick as 3.1 seconds.

17. 2015 Toyota Camry Facelift:

The Moscow show will see the world debut of the non-U.S. spec Camry facelift. Toyota has already released a teaser image of the car.

18. Citroen DS3:

The Citroen DS3 will make its Russian debut at the show where the prices for the hatchback will be announced.

19. Audi R8 LMX:

The Audi R8 LMX with laser headlights is said to visit the Mosocow Motor Show along with the 2015 Audi TT and the RS7 will also be in attendance.

20. Suzuki Ciaz:

The Suzuki Ciaz which will go on sale in India next month would be showcased at Moscow, most probably in the concept form that premiered at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The iV-4 crossover concept will also be there.

21. Renault Sandero:

The Renault Sandero hatchback will have its Russian debut at the MMAC 2014. The hatchback will be made at AvtoVAZ's Tolyatti plant.

22. Mercedes S 65 AMG Coupe:

The Mercedes S 65 AMG Coupe is reported to premiere at the show alongside already unveiled models like the S Guard, V Class and GLA 45 AMG.

23. Nissan Pathfinder:

The specifications and prices of the new Pathfinder for Russia would be announced at MMAC. A new C-Segment sedan, new Juke and GT-R Nismo are also on the cards.

24. Nissan GT-R Nismo:

The GT-R Nismo will have its Russian premiere at the Moscow show.

25. BMW X5 Security Plus:

Though the armored X5 was shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, its Russian premiere will be hosted at the Moscow show.

26. Datsun mi-DO:

The Datsun mi-DO is the second Russian model by the Nissan-owned budget brand. The hatchback is nothing but a rebadged Kalina.

27. Lada Priora facelift:

The Priora facelift will get a redone front fascia and will be shown at the Moscow show.

28. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV:

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV plug-in hybrid SUV would make its Russian premiere along with the updated Pajero, XR-PHEV and GC-PHEV concepts.

29. New BMW X3 and X5:

BMW will attend MIAS 2014 with the new BMW X3 and X5 SUVs. The carmaker will also conduct the Russian premiere of the ConnectedDrive technology.
