EICMA 2014 Live - MV Agusta Stradale 800

Based on the MG Agusta Rivale.

The MV Agusta Stradale 800 has world premiered at the EICMA 2014 in Milan, Italy.

The motorcycle, which is based on the Rivale, is powered by a three-cylinder, four-stroke, 12-valve DOHC engine displacing 798 cc. The power and torque outputs are rated at 115 hp at 11,000 rpm (10 hp lower than the Rivale) and 78.5 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm, and a 6-speed transmission is offered. The company claims a top-speed of 214 km/h.

Designers have given the Stradale 800 a visor, a tourer-friendly seat, squared triple exhausts, panniers and a new tailpiece.

The Stradale 800 measures 2,130 mm in length, 890 mm in width, 870 mm in height and 1,460 mm in wheelbase. The ground clearance measures 125 mm and a 16 liter fuel tank is provided. The tourer weighs 181 kg.

An ALS Steel tubular tellis frame forms basis for the Stradale 800. MV Agusta have given the motorcycle 43 mm Marzocchi upside down telescopic forks at the front and a Progressive Sachs single shock absorber at the rear.

The Stradale 800 gets double floating discs (320 mm) at the front and a single 220 mm disc for the rear. A Bosch 9 Plus ABS system is seen standard.

The Agusta Stradale 800 is available in three colors - Pixie White, Red and Bronze Metallic.
