Bajaj Auto has extended its CT range of commuter motorcycles with the CT110. While the company is yet to make an announcement and update its website, the new CT110 has started to arrive at select dealerships and a walkaround video of the motorcycle has surfaced online, courtesy YouTube channel Petro Head India.

The Bajaj CT110 sits between the Bajaj CT100 and the Bajaj Platina 110, and it has been priced at INR 44,512 (ex-showroom Nagpur). Like the CT100, the CT110 will be available in two variants – Kick Start and Electric Start. In terms of visual upgrades, the CT110 has updated graphics along with a rubber pad on the sides on the fuel tank. Similar padding is also seen on the TVS Radeon.

Most of the parts have been blacked out on the CT110. The black treatment is visible on the handlebar, engine, front fork, rear springs, pillion grab rail, chain cover and the wheels. The upswept exhaust, too, has a black finish, while the heat shield features a brushed silver treatment. The handlebar also gets a welded brace on the 110 cc model. The CT range primarily targets rural areas and thus the motorcycle comes with semi-knobby tread pattern for the tyres. The design will offer better grip over the loose surface in the rural areas.

The cockpit includes an analogue instrument console with two dials. The left side of the console features the speedometer and the odometer while the right side displays the fuel gauge and tell-tale indicators. The switchgear includes a pass button.

The saddle gets extra padding to enhance comfort levels. Unlike seat of the newly launched Platina 110 H Gear, the seat of the CT110 features a black cover with contrasting stitching. The CT110 will be available in three colour options:

  • Matte Olive Green with Yello Decals
  • Gloss Ebony Black with Blue Decals
  • Gloss Flame Red with Bright Red Decals

The hardware specifications are basic and the CT110 uses twin-sided springs at the back (with Spring-in-spring layout) and conventional telescopic forks at the front to perform the shock absorption tasks. Unlike the Platina 110 H Gear, the Platina CT110 comes with drum brakes only while the safety net includes Bajaj Auto’s Anti Skid Braking (combined braking system) as standard.

The details about the mechanical specifications are yet to be confirmed, but we expect to see the same 115 cc air-cooled engine from the Platina 110 on the CT110. The motor on the Platina 110 makes 8.6 PS of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 9.81 Nm of maximum torque at 5,000 rpm. The performance numbers would be identical on the CT110. The motorcycle employs a four-speed gearbox.
