New Ford Tourneo Custom showcased at IAA 2017 - Live

Ford has showcased the New Ford Tourneo Custom at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The New Ford Tourneo Custom can deliver first class travel for up to nine occupants in a new premium interior. The Tourneo Custom is available to order later this year, and for delivery in early 2018. The front fascia gets a familiar trapezoidal chrome grille with five bars. The vehicle gets LED daytime running lights, and the high-series models feature HID Xenon illumination.

On the inside, the people mover features an all-new instrument panel, pioneered on the all-new Ford Fiesta. The high-series models get an 8-inch colour touchscreen with pinch and swipe gestures. The new Tourneo Custom is the only vehicle in its segment to offer six individual seats, with the ability to arrange the two rear rows in conference format, or in two rows of three seats facing forward. Rear seat passengers can enjoy the more effective air conditioning system offering faster cooling or heating; six USB ports, and a 10-speaker audio system. The vehicle features Ford’s SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well.

The New Tourneo Custom features the 2.0 litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engine with a choice of 105 PS, 130 PS and 170 PS power ratings. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. On the safety department, the vehicle is equipped with Intelligent Speed Limiter; Traffic Sign Recognition System; Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert; Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection emergency braking system; Lane Keeping Alert; Side Wind Stabilisation and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The New Ford Tourneo Custom line-up offers either eight- or nine-seat configurations, with a choice of short wheelbase and long wheelbase versions. The longer model provides additional luggage space behind the third seat row.
