New Hyundai Santro (Hyundai AH2) spotted in Nilgiri Mountains

Spy shots of the new Hyundai Santro (Hyundai AH2) continue to pour in as the hatchback continues to undergo real-world testing ahead of its launch in August this year. PowerDrift's official Facebook page has shared a fresh set of images.

The widow line features a slight downward kink just behind the B-pillar.

This particular test mule was spotted on its way up to Doddabetta mountain (near Ooty), which is the highest point in Tamil Nadu. The location seems to be the same as that of 2018 Hyundai Creta's recent spy shots. Cutouts in the heavy camouflage reveal the positions of the headlamps, turn indicators, and fog lamps. The outline of the 'cascading' grille is also partially visible through the masking. One of the images shows the Hyundai AH2 parked close a Mahindra KUV100

The upcoming Hyundai hatchback will utilise a modified version of the i10's platform. In fact, the overall profile of the car bears a passing resemblance to the i10. As revealed by images published earlier, it has seats with fixed headrests that seem quite similar to the i10's.

A closer inspection of the camouflaged area confirms the presence of Hyundai's signature 'cascading' grille.
