Here are images of the new Maruti Swift Dzire Tour sent to us by a reader, offering a closer look at the taxi-oriented version. It is now available for purchase at a starting price of INR 5.24 Lakhs for the petrol variant and INR 5.99 Lakhs for the diesel version.
It can be summarised as a stripped-down version of the outgoing Swift Dzire (2nd gen), so as to keep the price as low as possible for cab operators to afford and maintain. Highlights of the Dzire Tour's exterior include a black plastic grille and bumper embellishers, swept back halogen headlamps, silver steel wheels, body-painted A-pillar and black plastic ORVM caps.
Instead of the all-black interior of the outgoing Dzire Tour, the new version has a dual-tone beige and black interior of the regular Swift Dzire with beige fabric upholstery. It has wood trim garnished on the dashboard, a MID and power window controls.

New to the Dzire Tour is the option of the 84 PS 1.2L petrol K-Series petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Also available is the familiar 1.3 DDiS diesel motor paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
