Video - Have you watched the Nissan Terrano's commercial?
The Nissan Terrano was launched in the first week of October with a waiting period exceeding 2 months. This came courtesy of the 6,000-odd people who pre-booked the Terrano since September. As a result, the Terrano didn't really require a television commercial as such, but Nissan has made one anyway and here it is.

The Terrano was launched in seven variants with prices ranging from INR 9.58 lakhs to INR 12.44 lakhs (ex-Showroom, Chennai). Two engine options are available - a 1.6-liter petrol outputting 104 PS and a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing either 85 PS or 110 PS.
While the petrol and the 85 PS diesel get a 5-speed manual transmission, the 110 PS gets a 6-speed manual transmission. All variants come as a front wheel drive only, though sources inform us that an all-wheel drive variant could be launched in the future.
Nissan India also launched a comprehensive set of accessories for the Terrano which include an additional seat on the boot floor, steering mounted audio controls (not the integrated type however), a reverse camera integrated in the rear view mirror, parking sensors and a touchscreen multimedia system with navigation.
Meanwhile, the Terrano's donor car, the Renault Duster celebrates its first anniversary in India by means of a special edition in an all-new body color.
