The Nissan Urvan is named after a village in Azerbaijan.

Nissan Philippines has introduced a super-sized Nissan Urvan Premium which has a total passenger count of 15. This move comes after the Nissan NV350 accounted for 31 percent of their sales last year.

The Nissan Urvan Premium gets a 2.5-litre high torque mill and is priced at PHP 1,650,000.

The Nissan Urvan Premium does remain true to the typical van styling of the NV350 but gains a chrome treatment. It measures 5,230 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 2,285 mm in height. The wheelbase has been extended to provide adequate legroom. The side roof drip channel has been done away with while fog lamps are standard.

The van also gets an extra wide sliding door (passenger side only) which has a height of 1,580 mm. The individual reclining seats get suede-like tricot fabric material with grey coloured headrest. The dashboard gets black and grey scheme. The dual aircon system also gets 14 ceiling mounted vents.

Safety features in the Nissan Urvan Premium include dual SRS airbags, seatbelts for all occupants, child lock on the sliding door and ABS with brake assist. Powering the Nissan Urvan Premium is a high torque 2,488 cc four cylinder diesel mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 129 PS of power at 3,200 rpm and 356 Nm of torque in the range of 1,400 to 2,000 rpm.
