Nissan X-Trail Premium Concept - Geneva Motor Show Live

Created at the company's Global Design centre in Japan.

The Nissan X-Trail Premium Concept, revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, is based on the current, third generation Nissan X-Trail, and is the work of the Japanese automaker's Global Design Centre (GDC) in Japan.

The concept features matte white as the main exterior colour and its bonnet and roof are given deep black matte carbon fibre treatment for contrast. The white-black contrast which starts from the 'V-motion' grille and continues through the bonnet and side to the rear highlights the X-Trail's rugged 'go-anywhere' character. The front skid plate and the 20-inch wheels are finished in golden copper colour, while the body cladding and fenders are painted in gloss black.

The Nissan X-Trail Premium Concept's interior features leather upholstery with a natural tan and black colour, and seats tailored in a combination of premium leathers. The tan coloured leather has a 'cloud effect' design on the headrest and seat sides. There's also Ultrasuede accentuated with gold pearl leather piping on the central section of seat back and base. Black carbon fibre finishing and matt chrome black are used for the dashboard and door trim.

Nissan has not mentioned about technical modifications for the Nissan Qashqai Premium Concept or plans to put the concept into production.
