The SR 125 costs INR 65,310, ex-showroom, Pune.

The company showcased a range of its products at this year’s Auto Expo in Greater Noida. It also launched the Aprilia SR 125 at the event. The SR 125 lowers the entry point as far as affordable Italian performance scooters are concerned. Apart from sales, the brand is also prioritizing customer experience. Speaking to the media house on the eve of the 2018 Auto Expo, Diego Graffi, CEO and MD, Piaggio India, said:

Currently, as (dealership) figures are changing more or less every week, we are at around 150 outlets all across India. Our plan is to more than double it in the next 12-18 months. The willingness to tie up with us is increasing fast; but as we grow, we want to maintain the identity and the experience one has at a Motoplex (Piaggio’s flagship store). The matter is not only sales, not only profitability, it is to provide the customer a unique experience. That is our standard for selecting new partners.

Graffi revealed that the Aprilia SR 150 is witnessing good demand cities like Goa and Bengaluru. Appropriately, the four out of five Motoplex stores are in the southern region - Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kochi. Piaggio opened its first Motoplex store in Pune, in 2015. Motoplex stores offer sales and service of products from all the three of its brands - Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa.
