Auto Expo Live - Range Rover Long Wheelbase launched
Land Rover has introduced the Range Rover Long Wheelbase at the Auto Expo today.
In the extended wheelbase model, Land Rover engineers have lengthened the body shell (just in front of the rear wheels) to increase the rear seat legroom by a further 140 mm. This combined with the individual rear seats results in the seat back reclining by 8 degrees more than the standard Range Rover.
For the Indian market the Range Rover L is available in three engine options. The base 3.0-liter V6 diesel which outputs 248 PS and 600 Nm of torque comes in the Vogue trim-line, while the top-end diesel, a 4.4-liter unit producing 339 PS and 700 Nm of torque is available in Vogue SE and Autobiography trims.
The petrol variant is powered by the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 510 PS and 625 Nm of torque and comes in Autobiography only. All variants are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
