Rolls Royce ‘Art Deco’ cars hit Paris
As reported earlier, Rolls Royce is celebrating the ‘Art Deco’ era at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
To commemorate the era, Rolls Royce will unveil a trio of customized cars to pay respect to the 1925 Paris Exhibition. Connoisseurs believe that the 1925 Paris Exhibition gave the art deco movement its name.
The three cars include a Phantom, a Ghost and a Phantom Drophead Coupé – all featuring a bespoke exterior and interior highlights.
The Phantom features a contrasting black and Arctic White leather with hand-finished stainless steel inlays in the drawers, rear picnic tables and door cappings.
The Ghost features two-tone Jubilee Silver and Cobalto Blue exterior finish with Art Deco motifs for the interior. On the other hand, the Phantom Drophead Coupe features a Mother of Pearl trim detailing.
Rolls Royce is giving its customers the option of specifying their own art deco cars. You can also pick various styling details such as an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy emblem or art deco headrest embroidery.
No word is out on pricing yet but IAB readers are well aware that these Art Deco cars will be on sale in India later this year.
