Royal Enfield 650 Twins India launch in the next few months - Report
In an interaction with MoneyControl, Royal Enfield’s head honcho Siddhartha Lal revealed that the Royal Enfield 650 Twins would enter the Indian market in the next few months.
The Royal Enfield 650 Twins made their global debut at the 2017 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The brand will launch the motorcycles abroad first, and then in the home-ground. Speaking on the side-lines of the brand’s export business, Lal said:
They (the 650 Twins) will come out soon in the next few months. We are also waiting for them to come out we are sorting out ramping up issues. It’s only a matter few months. The Interceptor 650 is a new product but the Continental GT 650 will replace the current Continental GT that we sell in India.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 when launched, would be the most affordable twin cylinder café racer in the country. The Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650, on the other hand, will be an ideal pocket-friendly alternative to modern classics like the Triumph Bonneville T100 and the Triumph Street Twin. In the UK market, the bookings for the Interceptor are reportedly open, and in Australia, the tentative pricing of the Royal Enfield 650 twins has been reportedly announced. In Indian showrooms, the bikes are likely to cost around INR 3.5 lakhs, ex-showroom.
