The Interceptor INT 650 and the Continental GT 650 use the exact same engine, and thus there is no separate video for the modern-classic. Before you watch the dyno test, let us give you a quick recap about the horsepower figure at the crankshaft. The 648cc, parallel-twin cylinder, air & oil cooled engine, SOHC engine delivers 47 bhp (47.65 hp) of power at 7,250 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. Meanwhile, the KTM 390 Duke’s 373 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4 valve engine makes 43.5 hp of power at 9,500 RPM and 35 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm. On the dyno, the Austrian pocket rocket produces 41.21 hp at 8,640 rpm and 36.47 Nm at 6,860 rpm. While the KTM 390 Duke has marginally lower power output, it has a weight advantage over the Royal Enfield 650 Twins that gives the Austrian hooligan a better power-to-weight ratio.

Apart from the power-to-weight advantage, the KTM is the most feature-rich motorcycle in the sub-500cc segment of the Indian market. The 390 Duke features full LED lighting, upside down telescopic front forks and a digital display with Smartphone integration via Bluetooth to control music and calls.

The KTM 390 Duke and the Royal Enfield 650 Twins appeals to the different type of riders, and thus they aren't exactly direct rivals.
