Royal Enfield Classic 500 Chrome - Nepal Live

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Chrome has been showcased at Nepal’s 2017 NADA Auto Show. Dugar Brother's and Sons is the brand’s authorised distributor.

The Classic Chrome is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500, but with a heavy dose of chrome. Apart from the blinged-out parts, the bike gets a leather finish single seat. The motorcycle showcased is the Chrome Green variant.

The Classic Chrome derives power from a 499 cc single cylinder twin spark engine with fuel injection. The powerplant pushes out 27.2 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. A 5-speed gearbox does duty in this motorcycle. The 35 mm front fork and the twin rear gas charged shock absorbers hold the single downtube frame in place. The frame uses the engine as the stressed member.

Brakes include a 280 mm front disc and a 153 mm rear drum unit. The bike rolls on 90-section front and 110-section rear tyres. The fuel tank is capable of holding 14.5 litres of juice and the bike tips the scale at 187 kg kerb.

Apart from the Royal Enfield Classic Chrome, the distributor also showcased the Classic 350 Redditch Red Edition, the Continental GT and the Himalayan.
