Royal Enfield domestic sales in February 2017 at 56,737 units
Royal Enfield is expected to come out with a twin cylinder motorcycle this year.
Royal Enfield has posted a total sale of 58,439 units including both domestic sales and exports in February 2017. Their numbers saw a growth of 19 percent on a year on year basis. February 2016 numbers stood at 49,156 units.
Domestic sales in February 2017 stood at 56,737 which also saw a 19 percent growth on a year on year basis. Total sales in the financial year 2016-17 so far include 592,558 units which is a 32 percent jump from the 448732 units Royal Enfield sold in the same months last year.
Products like the Royal Enfield Himalayan and Royal Enfield Classic 350 have been instrumental in getting these numbers. The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch series has also been an attractive proposition which will attract youth with their classic appeal. The Redditch series pays tribute to original Royal Enfield motorcycles manufactured in Redditch, UK, and will be launched in the 500 cc avatar in export markets this year.

This financial year, Royal Enfield’s exports numbers too got a major bump of 71 percent. Numbers stand at 13,819 units shipped to international markets while last year they were at 8,102 units.
Royal Enfield’s export numbers for February 2017 stood at 1,702 units, 113 motorcycles more than February 2016.
