Royal Enfield opens first dealership in Ireland

Started in collaboration with Co Limerick based firm, RetroVentures.

Royal Enfield, the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production has extended its reach further by inaugurating its first dealership in Ireland. The authorized store is opened in collaboration with Co Limerick based firm, RetroVentures that has been hiring out Royal Enfield motorcycles to its customers for the past two years.

RetroVentures has been hiring out Royal Enfields for over two years now.

Commenting on this, Mr. Chris Davidson, Managing Director, RetroVentures, told The Irish Times, "We have been hiring out Royal Enfield motorcycles to visitors to Ireland for the last two years and have been overwhelmed not just by the level of demand and the amount of positive feedback, but also by the number of customers who come to us to see if they can buy a motorcycle from us. Because of this, and the extensive market research we carried out over the last year, we knew that the next natural step was to open a Royal Enfield showroom."

In its home market in India, the Himalayan was the last product launch from the company.

Royal Enfield currently retails its products across India through a total of 17 brand stores and 496 dealerships. Further, it also exports its cruisers to around 50 countries of United States, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
