The Royal Enfield Himalayan has been spotted sporting a camouflage colour at a dealership, hinting at its imminent launch.

The new camo colour enhances the bike's rugged appeal.

The new colour scheme looks like snow camouflage, and is apt for an adventure bike like the Himalayan. The fuel tank, front and rear fender get the new camo colour. The powertrain, suspension, and the rims are all black. The mechanical underpinnings are likely to remain the same as the existing Himalayan.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan extracts power from a single cylinder 411 cc SOHC mill. With fuel injection, the engine generates 24.5 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm, and 32 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. A 5-speed transmission does duty in the motorcycle.

Apart from the new colour scheme, the bike remains the same as the regular Himalayan.

The engine nestles inside a half-duplex split cradle frame. For suspension, the motorcycle employs 41 mm telescopic front fork, and a rear monoshock with linkage. A 300 mm front and a 240 mm rear disc handle the braking responsibility.
