Royal Enfield Himalayan spotted at a dealership ahead of launch - Spied

The Royal Enfield Himalayan has been spotted at a dealership in Tamil Nadu by Himal Chakraborty. The motorcycle will be launched on the market next month.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan will be launched in mid March, by when its price will be revealed.

The Himalayan premiered on February 2 and will be available in two colours - matte black and matte white. The adventure touring motorcycle is shod with CEAT Gripp dual-purpose tyres.

The RE Himalayan is powered by a 411 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with an oil-cooler, SOHC and carburettor. The motor produces 24.5 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm between 4,000 and 4,500 rpm. The bike is based on a half-duplex split-cradle frame that is suspended by a 41 mm diameter fork that has 200 mm of travel, and a monoshock with 180 mm of travel.

The RE Himalayan is shod with CEAT Gripp dual purpose tyres, and is powered by a 411 cc single-cylinder engine.

The other hardware on the motorcycle are 300 mm disc brake at the front with double-piston floating caliper, 240 mm disc brake at the rear with single-piston floating caliper, 90/90-21 front tyre, 120/90-17 rear tyre, single halogen headlamp, and a four-pot instrument cluster that comprises of an analog speedometer, analog tachometer, analog fuel gauge, digital screen that shows time, two trip readings, temperature and odo-reading, and a digital compass.
