The Himalayan is expected to be priced between INR 1.65 lakhs to INR 1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The Himalayan is an all-new model that would be the most affordable adventure tourer in the country. The motorcycle features a new chassis and a newly developed engine that could be used in the company's future products as well.

The entire package is unique to the sub-INR 2 lakh segment that ensures that the Himalayan does not have a direct competitor. The motorcycles that come close to being the rivals of the RE Himalayan are the Mahindra Mojo and the Benelli TNT25. While the said two models are built for munching miles on the highway, the Himalayan is a purpose-built adventure tourer that should perform better where there is no road.

The Himalayan will have the Mahindra Mojo and the Benelli TNT 25 as indirect rivals.
