Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets India's first 2-into-1 exhaust

The Royal Enfield 650 Twins have been relatively successful in the Indian market ever since they were launched in November last year. We have seen quite a few modifications and custom jobs on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. However, this Interceptor 650 with a 2-in-1 exhaust system takes the cake. Let's take a close look at the Royal Enfield dual exhaust below.

The 2-into-1 exhaust system has resulted in weight savings of up to 11 kg on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

Mumbai-based SS Moto has specifically manufactured the two into one exhaust system for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. While the custom bike builder hasn't revealed the prices of the exhaust system, customers can get in touch with them through their Facebook page.

According to SS Moto, the modified Royal Enfield dual exhaust model is lighter by 9 to 11 kg than the stock model. While it uses two bend pipes, the single end-can has allowed massive reduction. This setup could be apt for someone who wants to transform their Interceptor 650 into a scrambler or achieve Interceptor 650 weight reduction.

ArrayThe Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 sources power from a 648cc parallel-twin, oil cooled motor that generates 47 bhp of power and 53 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with Royal Enfield's first six-speed gearbox. Braking is aided by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear rotor, while dual-channel ABS is standard.

Suspension duties are carried out by 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin coil-over spring shock absorbers with piggyback canisters. According to Royal Enfield, the 650 Twins offer a pure and authentic motorcycling experience to its customers. It is also the reason why, the bikes come with the most basic hardware, without much electronic wizardry.
