Despite going through a major makeover, Royal Enfield's core business will come from products like the Royal Enfield Bullet, Royal Enfield Classic and Continental GT.

Royal Enfield has risen from the ashes and emerged to be one of the most profitable motorcycle manufacturers. While products like the Royal Enfield Himalayan have been successful, the company wants to stay true to its core business. Mr Lal said:

Five years from now when we have a completely overhauled range of Royal Enfield bikes, you’ll certainly see even more classic motorcycles in that. The majority of our core models will still be classic oriented, and will come from our heritage, our roots, like the Continental GT or the Bullet Classic.

Royal Enfield will also work on new models which are positioned away from the classic philosophy of the Royal Enfield brand. They also want to be ‘as innovative as possible’ in the chosen segment of the market.

Their upcoming twin cylinder engine will be a major step in their plans to attain global domination in the middleweight segment. The powerplant is expected to be first used in the Royal Enfield Continental GT 750.
