Royal Enfield inaugurates exclusive showroom in Dubai - Report
Takes inspiration from "a motorcycle enthusiast's living room".
Royal Enfield has inaugurated its first exclusive store in the UAE. The store in Dubai also includes the recent collection of accessories and apparel that the company had launched in India.
The 1,924 square-feet store in Dubai's Al Quoz industrial area follows the company's new design format for its stores. The company says that the design has been inspired by "a motorcycle enthusiast's living room". Apart from the Royal Enfield Continental GT, the store will also sell the Rumbler (Thunderbird) in 500 cc and 350 cc formats, the Classic in 500 cc and 350 cc outputs, and the regular Bullet as well.
Royal Enfield has seen its sales steadily rising. The company registered a growth of 41.25 percent in May 2015 as against its sales in May 2014, selling 10,105 units more. The company's exports have also been on the rise over the last year.
The company is readying an all-new bike to be launched, rumoured to be called the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The bike has been spied several times and is said to be part of the Adventure Series segment that has been seeing quite a few launches of late, including bikes from Bajaj and Triumph. The Himalayan is expected to feature a 390 cc single-cylinder engine.
